Overview

Interaction Principles allow users to control immersive sound variables within their PersonalSpace environment. These experiences provide a level of tuning customization that enables users to adjust volume and soundfield levels within their specific seat zone.

PersonalSpace is designed to distribute greater volume output throughout the front of the vehicle while maintaining a level of privacy in the rear. Passengers have the abilitity to optimize infotainment experiences within their individual zones without disturbing others.

Users may personalize tuning experiences via native settings within the vehicle or by using the
 Bose smartphone application.

Associated Taxonomy

A measure of sound in relation to relative softness or loudness. A nominal low/high measurement related to the strength of the vibration.

Soundfield

An immersive 360° field defined as a range, being narrow or wide. This is adjustable and surrounds the passenger within the cabin space.

Seat Zone
Volume

The defined listening and/hearing space that surrounds a passenger within the cab of a specified vehicle.

Sliders are used across the software language to help users select a point along a range. Use split sliders when the slider base is 0, and use a regular slider when the user is choosing a point between two options.
